A while back I got into matched betting as a way to make a little extra cash on the side. But after getting gubbed by some of the major bookies, this revenue stream was beginning to dry up. I needed to find ways to make money elsewhere. This is when I discovered what is commonly called 'Betfair Trading' A form of trading sports and horse prices on the exchange in a fashion similar to financial markets. In fact, if you have a financial trading background you may find some sports trading success here.

Now its called Betfair Trading because Betfair is the major exchange with the most liquidity and thus the most potential to extract profit from markets. But there are other exchanges, and they may be a better alternative depending on what markets you are looking to trade.
